A Focus Group is a group of firms of similar size that meet twice a year for an intense one day session. Participants work on strategy and practice issues, share ideas, develop relationships, get new ideas and discover new resources.
We ask each firm to send 2 representatives to each meeting. It’s a great way to expose your professionals to the real issues of running a practice.
Each meeting will be facilitated by Gordon Gilchrist or Chris Frederiksen. Their job is to make you aware of the latest issues and trends in the profession and to share ideas and approaches from other practices.
Three important features of each meeting are:
- Each firm explains what they have accomplished in the prior 6 months.
- At the end of the meeting, each firm discusses what they plan to accomplish in the next 6 months.
- All the discussion, information and recommendations from the meeting are summarised and sent out to participants.
