What is a webinar?
A webinar is an interactive seminar conducted via the web. It happens in real time as you can see the presenter via webcam and their screen on your computer, tablet or smartphone from the comfort of your office, home or wherever you choose. You may participate, if you wish, by asking questions online.

2020 Innovation now use GoToWebinar, an industry leading webinar platform that makes it even easier to join our webinars from your computer, tablet or smartphone. Please view ‘how to join the webinar’ below for further details.
How do I register for a webinar?
Simply review the webinars section of our website, add the relevant webinar to your ‘basket’ and follow the checkout procedure. Please note this step still needs to be carried out for 2020 Members purchasing CPD webinars which are complimentary with 2020 Membership, although no charge will be made for these. Upon completion of the checkout stage you will be automatically registered on to the webinar and will receive an email notification with the link to join.
How do I join the live webinar?
Upon registering, participants will receive an email containing a unique link enabling them to join the webinar. At the appropriate date and time, click on the link to join. A reminder email will be sent in the 24 hour period before the webinar takes place.
Can I access via a smartphone or tablet?
In order to connect and listen to a 2020 webinar via a smartphone or tablet you simply need to download the GoToWebinar App on IOS or Android which is free from the App Store or Android Market.
Will I be able to listen to the presenter and ask questions?
You can listen to the presenters over the speakers (or by using a headset) of your computer, tablet or smartphone. Once you are connected to the webinar, a box will appear where you can post any questions for the speaker to make it truly interactive.
How do I access the notes and slides for the webinar?
Where applicable, webinar materials, such as notes and slides will be available to download from within the live webinar environment. You will also be able to download them in advance, or after the event, by visiting ‘my2020 Dashboard’ and then selecting My Purchases on the 2020 website.
Do I pay for the call charges?
There are no call charges to pay as you access the webinar directly over the internet.
Can other team members in my organisation join in as well?
Multiple delegates from a firm may attend the same webinar, either on a group basis or by way of separate computers, tablets or smartphones, provided firms have purchased multiple registrations. If you are a 2020 Member, unlimited access is provided for your whole team for the CPD webinars, although they must individually register for each CPD webinar. Multiple attendees using the same registration link to connect to the webinar results in a deterioration of the audio and picture quality.
What happens if I miss the webinar - can I access the recording?
Almost all webinars are recorded and made available to those who register, shortly after the event. If you have registered for the webinar, simply visit’ my2020 Dashboard’ and select My Purchases on the 2020 website to access the webinar and related materials.
What happens if the webinar has already taken place but I didn’t register in advance?
