Objectives This webinar will ensure that delegates understand the issues involved and the approach adopted in a QAD Practice Assurance (PA) visit and/or a QAD Audit visit. Course Programme
  • Review of the Practice Assurance principles and of what QAD expect to find on a PA visit
  • An update explaining the changes to QAD PA procedures
  • The results of QAD PA visits
  • The common issues which QAD come across on PA visits and which they refer to in their regular reports including illustrative cases
  • A refresher of ICAEW ethical guidance and requirements
  • Compilation and assurance review engagements
  • The session will also briefly consider the ongoing deficiencies that they regularly find in audit files.
Who should attend? This course is aimed at all practitioners working in a practice subject to visits by ICAEW’s QAD (Quality Assurance Department). Practices regulated by ACCA should also find the Webinar useful as ACCA feedback is similar to that from QAD.
